Würth UK - OrSyscan
As one of the world's leading suppliers of screws, fixings and fastenings to the automotive aftermarket, Würth has carried out considerable research and has discovered the consumption and cost of these products far outweighed the charges made for them. The lack of control in this area was, and is, adding considerably to the costs of a typical bodyshop - well in excess of £30,000 a year, according to Würth's research.

Würth set out to to develop a practical solution which was fast, accurate, easy to use and inexpensive to install. A team of IT experts at Würth UK working in close association with RH Coachworks, has developed an advanced electronic data capture and retrieval system for stock control in the bodyshop, ORSYscan.
ORSYscan - will make stock management control a more exact science. A standalone bar code scanner rapidly and accurately logs every item, and the resulting data can be transferred easily to the main PC based ORSY software system.
The pocket sized scanner, integral to the ORSYscan system, can withstand oil, grease and (within reason) impact. It has an easy to read screen and a substantial memory which means fewer downloads.
As the scanner allows every bodyshop consumable to be booked out to a specific job (and even to a specific technician), the ORSYscan system can track and collect information on product usage by every job and operative. This ensures wastage is dramatically reduced.
