Typically, a company purchases a range of products identified by unique codes assigned by the vendor. However, companies often need to replace product codes with their own numbering, in order to make it easier to manage them internally.
For example, if a company buys three separate chemicals from three different suppliers, to be able to quickly identify each product, they may re-number them as follows:

Here, the customer can search for products, put them in the cart and purchase them using their own item codes. Not only that, various documents such as invoices and delivery notes will contain both the purchaser’s and the supplier’s product codes.

The item code synchronization service is quick and easy to implement. Once you send the list of products with their custom item codes to Würth, it is immediately uploaded. Companies that use e procurement can use its own product codes in the Würth e-shop almost instantly.
The Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG collects and processes the personal data provided in the form in order to process the requested request for you. Please note the mandatory fields in the forms. The legal basis for this processing, the absolutely necessary data, is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, implementation of a pre-contractual measure. The processing of data voluntarily provided by you is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Thereafter, processing is permissible which is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interest is to have contact with you, our customers, to improve our consulting quality and to be able to contact you more easily in case of possible queries. The data collected will only be stored by us for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry and to contact you. They are then deleted.
