What is HHS?
What does HHS stand for? HHS stands for highly adhesive lubricant. The multifunctional high-adhesive lubricants are used, among other things, in vehicle fleets to bond and protect materials. The outdated HHS product line contains harmful PFAS and N-HEXANe substances.
PFAS, or Poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances, are chemical substances that occur in lubricants, fire-fighting foam and clothing, among other things. PFAS has a water, grease and dirt repellent effect, but also has undesirable properties. The substances are poorly degradable in the environment and can have harmful effects on humans. PFAS is no longer allowed to be used in products these days. N-HEXANE are colorless soluble substances that can be very harmful to human health in the long term. For example, the substances are carcinogenic and N-HEXAN can greatly reduce the ability to react.
Strict guidelines have been made for these fabrics, which we comply with with the HHS-Plus product innovation. For example, the new HHS line no longer contains PFAS and N-Hexane.
